A newb who'd just been playing for 2 weeks—but surely been PK'd 30 times already—had had enough. He was gonna do a bot massacre. He'd noticed PKing before: north of Prevalia, people didn't even react. Not to greys, not to corpses, not to fighting—nothing.
Not only would he PK apocalyptically and unapologetically, he would do it on a fresh account, and rack up kills faster than once a minute, against seemingly near-grandmastered accounts, who were controlled in bot fashion: first run to Boney, the battle trainer, then summon water elementals when in need? Then run away when low on health, or auto-bandage.
Or what about running around screaming at the top of their lungs, "GUARDS! GUARDS! GUARDS!" while nothing happened? In total, after 7 minutes—including starting the game, choosing a name (the fittingly titled ThrowAwayPK), choosing skills and stats, running to the omnibot place, and using that lethal newbie axe—he'd managed to rack up 9 kills before someone really cared.
And Outlandia was never the same. No one ever botted. No one ever used 20 fishing poles and 20 skillets on a fisher again. People started enjoying the game more. And it spread to IRL, and world peace was achieved with Agenda2030 only 5 years later—because whoever wasn't a bot was organ-dealed then.
