Oct. 11th, 2025 11:40 amyes, this was made before i got trolled on the discord forums whatever things. its not to "prove someone wrong", or "teach someone a lesson", as some people like to live their lives. i just wanted to do something unique, cool. "do you want a challenge?" uhh duhhrrr whats the point of living otherwise? "do you wanna drink smoothies all your life or nothing else?". in sweden we call it "ramla in på en räkmacka" och "köra i gräddfilen". and of course the "fed with a silver spoon". i knew runescape was 99% twinks but i didnt think the same was true for outlands but i guess thats it.
"im afraid

hey, i tried a unique build. then i sorta gave up on it. and it turned like my other char. just a melee fighter. fights like any other skill. quite dull. anyway. was cool =) inspired by diablo 2 unique build vids that are still being made now ith the remaster.
ultima online outlands featherweight ironman boxer
started on 2025-10-25 saturday
objective:
throw away all starting items
choose only 8 skills you wont use, at least in the beginning
no npc help
no twinking from players or other accounts
no bank?
no items at all?
how long can i push this?
no city visits? just be a wild barbarian? no clothes?
add stealing and join the thief guild so ill be permanently grey to other players?
add music skills to keep with the air theme?
thinking about how to limit. now that i tried out spirit speak, maybe i should try a necromancer for hte first time? it feels tintilating to fighting low level mosnters and them being challenging. just something new. how far can i take it?
even just using items feels overrated. which skills are possible to grandmaster this way? taming surely isnt, the lowest taming requirement is 25.
anyway, what i did was put points into skills that i wouldnt use. and if you are to use them, they must reach 0 first. for stats i put max amount into intelligence so my swing speed would be as slow as possible.
luckely enough the first moongate i used had a bird right next to it. i almost didtn make it. i could always have run away to heal, but it was possible to 1v1 them. then i tried birds, a chicken, more birds, a cat. and yes, i call this the
"featherweight ironman boxer"
maybe i should only fight flying creatures? wisps would surely be a challenge. mongbats are probably possible as long as i find them somewhere. and why not harpies? could stone harpies be possible? i read that outlands has 500 different monsters, how many are flying capablity?
maybe i should turn him into a musician? or start a new character with that? newer tried that out.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 082858.png
i figured i should start out with birds. the first one i tried i had about 15 hp left. luckely enough i found a new place which had 6 bird spawns. and an elder larva that annoyed me eventually. so no afk here!
monsters fought
birds 3, lvl 17 combat skills
1 chicken, lvl 20
as i thought tracking increases my dexterity, its already gained 16 points. sort of a cheat. built in afking.
birds 3, skill lvl 24

next bird was unlucky, lost 30 hp

i went to town to bank, heh, nothing. there was someone who made a hobo barb in diablo 2, who wasnt allowed to use town except to teleport to the next act. was interesting. so many variations you can do. remember, the RPG in MMORPG stands for role-playing, that you play a role, something unique, something different from how you usually are. try something new! challenge yourself.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 092042.png
health regenerated to full automagically after having fought 4 birds. its time to upgrade to mongbats 09:20, im also killing the npcs faster than they can respawn.

couldnt find a mongbat, but i fought an eagle, taming level +10 higher than the birds, so a formidable opponent, lost 55 hp. so seemingly not ready for mongbats yet. but this is only 2 hours or so of gameplay to reach npc training level? about average. not too easy not too difficult. as always in UO the designers mix low level and high level monsters so afking combat skills is never completely safe.
i wont use hiding on this character. at least not now. im tired of training it on just a previous character i made recently.
stats
53.5 anatomy

just fighting about 50 monsters give you 50 in combat skills and also 10 levels higher in item id and tracking at the same time. npc training isnt needed. and yes i guess i could have gotten hiding that high as well.
the eagle does 6-9 dmg to me while i only do a constant 3. tried a second one, and it went down pretty quickly compared to the low level birds in the beginning, but i lost 60hp.
i dont know if i want to ruin this character with items. its challenging now in a completely different way. pking isnt for me its just way too fast and then youre dead already. this is more my style.
09:39
ill just see how i long i can take my boxer. ill try harpies eventually. maybe just a feather weight fighter? hah.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 094843.png
had to run off to heal after damaging the eagle only half. theres some antibotting scheme which reduces your damage to 1 only. when i got back it was the normal incredible 3. my gump says 2-8 in attack but no monster takes that damage?
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 095049.png
right now im playing catch up with item id to mr automagic skill tracking
it still hasnt found a grey after looking for hours? i guess i need synergies.
i have 2 simple in game macros to last skill and last item. havent pressed it a lot.

Skärmbild 2025-10-11 105001.png
why not? start in the lower end. and work yourself up.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 105817.png
this allowed me to buy 1 bandage. increased my healing skill by 1.7.
anatomy is already 56.5 so it should help in healing if its ever successfull.
when have playing the game in the nullties, i never learned much. i was
just a teen. i enjoyed just playing the game however. and now to a higher
degree, thanks to the unique builds videos some people still do about
diablo 2, now that its in remastered form.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 110642.png
a kind soul left some alchemy tools in town.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 110712.png
im not sure i like my chances though.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 111401.png
yes, managed to achieve an incredible
42 in begging and 52 gp, enough to buy
a wrestling weapon! lets see how this fares.
first i was going to buy a hatchet, but all
that clicking, oh my.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 111639.png
supposedly it should quadrupple my damage.
but because the way armour works it will
probably be a lot more. interesting!
oh, ruthless! 51-61 damage!
and it trains parrying.
Skärmbild 2025-10-11 112848.png
well, now this character is a lot like some of my others.
still, i showed its easy to work yourself up to npc training level
in only a day or 2 of playing, with zero starting items
and lvl 0 starting in everything.
